A blouse piece is placed on the bride's lap and the bride’s mother fills it with Sobalakki items like Rice, Jaggery, sweets, savories and fruits which is to be carried to her in-laws’ house. This ritual assures that the ‘Tavaru Mane’ (Bride’s parents’ house) is always there for supporting the bride and wishing the bride to lead a long and happy life with her husband.
