Then the father of the bride pours sacred water symbolizing the giving away of the daughter to the groom. The groom says ‘Dharmecha, Arthecha, Kaamecha, Mokshecha Aham Evam Naathi Charaami’ meaning Righteously, Financially, by Desire or Spiritually, I will not walk away from her!”
